Terms of Service

Last updated June 29, 2026

These terms cover your use of LaunchPal. The most important part is simple: only scan domains you own or are authorized to test.

1. Acceptance

By using LaunchPal you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

2. The service

LaunchPal is a free launch-readiness scanner. It runs a set of best-effort, mostly passive checks against a public website and returns a Launch Readiness Score with plain-language suggestions.

3. Permitted use

You may only scan a domain that you own or that you have explicit permission to test. This is the core rule of the service.

You must not:

  • Scan websites or systems you don’t own or aren’t authorized to test.
  • Use the service to attack, overload, or disrupt any system.
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, bot protection, or other safeguards.
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose.

4. No warranty

LaunchPal performs automated, best-effort checks. It is not a professional penetration test or a security audit, and a good score is not a guarantee that a site is secure. The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. You remain responsible for the security of your own systems.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LaunchPal is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service.

6. Rate limits & fair use

To keep the service available for everyone, scans are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile and rate-limited (anonymous users get a small number of scans per hour; signed-in users get a higher limit). We may adjust these limits or block abuse at our discretion.

7. Accounts

If you create an account, you’re responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity under your account. Authentication is provided by Supabase.

8. Intellectual property

LaunchPal, its name, and its content are owned by us. Your scan results and any reports about your own sites are yours to use.

9. Termination

We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms or abuses the service. You can stop using LaunchPal and delete your account at any time.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which LaunchPal operates. (Specific jurisdiction to be confirmed before launch.)
